COLIN KAEPERNICK, SAN FRANCISCO 49ERS

  Colin's parents suffered the loss of two infant sons to Congenital Heart Defects.  Colin was adopted by his parents and once he made it to the NFL, he chose to help children suffering from heart disease in honor of his parents and what they had endured.  Colin has given his time to camp sessions, fundraisers and has spent time with our heart kids.at all camp programs

RONNIE TURIAF, GOLDEN STATE WARRIORS

Diagnosed with a heart defect after being recruited from the NBA.  He later underwent open heart surgery and makes time to give back by inviting heart kids to his basketball games and donating AEDs.

TJ CARRIE - OAKLAND RAIDERS

Travis Carrie was diagnosed with a heart defect while he was a freshman in high school.  TJ and his family made the decision to undergo open heart surgery to repair his heart defect.  After a long recovery, TJ returned to high school football and chased his dreams to the NFL.  TJ's message to our heart campers is to keep on dreaming and to believe in yourself.  TJ volunteers at Camp Taylor programs and fundraisers.
