The Camp that
Camp Taylor is everything you can imagine when dreaming of going away to summer camp! The picturesque Campus is nestled along the San Joaquin River in Modesto, California. Camp Taylor is currently considering contracts for overnight camp programs that will take place beginning July 2021. The Campus is currently undergoing many improvements, including a Dining Hall renovation, new volunteer and camper cabin housing, and a climbing wall and ropes course.
The Campus is available to rent for overnight groups ranging from 30 - 150 people. All rentals include full meal service and the exclusive use of many campus facilities. The Camp Taylor Team has several decades of experience in creating camp programs from scratch and is interested in collaborating with your organization to enhance your current programming. Camp Taylor specializes in special needs and employee wellness programs/retreats. We also welcome special single-day events. Single-day events accommodate up to 300 people. We are currently accepting applications for day use events.
FACILITY RENTAL INFORMATION
Camp Facility: Dining Hall, Camper/Volunteer Cabins, Infirmary, Arts & Crafts building, Ice Cream Parlor, Archery Course, Pond, River, Stage/Campfire, Park/Gazebos and Boat House/Snow Cone Shack are available facility program spaces.
Camp Activities: Canoeing, Fishing, Team Building, Climbing Wall, Ropes Course, Campfire Skits/Songs, Health Education Class, Treasure Hunt, Water-slide, Capture the Flag, Disco Bingo, Face Painting, and Animal Balloons are current program activities.
Offerings through Camp Taylor Partnerships:
Miniature Horses, Petting Zoo, and Horseback Riding.
